CoonAss Meatball Spaghetti in the Instant Pot

Coon Ass Meatball Spaghetti in the Instant Pot

Ingredients:
   For Meatballs:
  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup Guidry Seasoning
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 healthy squeeze ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • salt & pepper

Mix all together and form into meatballs.
Cook 30 minutes in 350 degree oven on a sheet pan.

Note: You may, of course, use frozen meatballs, but we prefer homemade.

Ingredients for Sauce:
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 T sugar
  • 1/2 can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tomato sauce can of water
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 envelope McCormick Zesty Spaghetti Seasoning
  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute, add 3-4 T olive oil, and let heat up.
  2. Saute onion and garlic for a few minutes.
  3. Add tomato paste and saute for a few more minutes.
  4. Add tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, water, sugar, salt & pepper, and McCormick seasoning. Stir.
  5. Add meatballs. Stir.
  6. Cook on Manual for 22 minutes.
  7. Natural Release (It takes about 17 minutes)
Serve with your choice of spaghetti noodles, salad, and garlic/cheese bread.

The picture's not the best, but the other plates were pretty empty by the time I decided to take the picture! 😊
The beauty of using the Instant Pot is that you don't have to stir, and it doesn't need to cook for hours.
